I've been getting my live-stream practicing last month, and while I don't know if I'm getting the hang of drawing with an audience, there's a relaxation to experiencing it overall.

My Stream name is now Lyon 'Yomi' Mythroam (Yomi for short), and yeah, I've been basically streaming as a PNGTuber for practice.

Anyway, I'm sorry that I've been busy elsewhere or away from DA a lot. Things are things...

I am finishing up a personal fanart right now, but I'd like to try my hand at that on Twitch, so consider this an invite to my guerilla stream. I can't promise it'll be unique or exciting, but if you've ever wanted to chat with me about anything in particular, now is a good time as opposed to messaging me.

Chatting can include small talk, my artwork, wrestling topics, favorite shows, characters, people, or whatever seems comfortable to discuss. Compliments are welcome too. One important rule though: please don't ask me for commissions or fill in details for a commission idea during the livestream. I can give you instructions to where you can submit one, but there's no guarantee I'll accept it right away if you do as I'm juggling with scheduling other reservations along with my own projects and activities.

So right now, I've been considering the idea of setting up a Twitch channel of my own. Well, not so much considering... more like setting up. I really don't know if its something that any of my followers and friends would be interested in seeing from me; but just in case people are interested, I'd love your support on making Twitch happen. Been thinking I could maybe do some art streams from there over the weekend, and if anybody wants to see how I draw my illustrations and wrestling content then that'd be pretty neat. It could be something I could use to stream games as well.

Anyway, to anybody that is still watching me actively around here, what's your thoughts on the idea?

Hello everybody! It's been a while once again, hasn't it. I know that it feels like I'm going back and forth with my activity around here and there, but most of the time I've just haven't been in the right mood to attend to my normal drawing routine. There have been a number of factors for why that is, and they've all played a part in making my days burdensome. I'd like to explain the bulk of my reasons for lacking interest in drawing and chatting lately.

The biggest factor in my absence is WORK. My current job in the delivery service has become even more time consuming, exhausting, and overall depressing. Since the start of the new year we've had to take tough precautions due to the Co-Vid outbreaks. And with the number of jobs and businesses drying up in the area, it has become extremely important that I do all that I can to keep my job intact, fill in all possible extra hours to keep a steady pay check, and avoid getting sick. I'm also very aggravated with our new manager running the company because his attitude is very straight-forward towards everybody, and not to mention we lost a lot of perks that kept morale boosted inside the company since he transferred to our neck of the woods. Even so, I have found it much more upsetting this year watching so many of my nearby hangouts and food stores going out of business. It is like watching my homeland crumbling away and becoming less and less familiar to me anymore. Then again, this is the same experience many of you must be feeling as well. So sad... and with all that going on, I just get so demotivated by the end of the day that I can't muster the energy to draw most days; even my weekends end up feeling tiresome because of the week long work overload still troubling my mind and body.

Now the smaller factor for my absence is a little less aggravating. You see last March, a stray cat started showing up in my neighborhood. The neighbors were laying out food for her a few days, and then one day the cat met me and begged me for food, entered my home without a second thought, and before I knew it she practically adopted me as her new pet owner. As for me, I just fell in love with her and kept her ever since. I tried to find her original owners at the start since she was chipped, but they never came into contact with me, so now she's my responsibility to take care of and love. So how does all of this have anything to do with me being gone for so long? Well if you're a cat owner, you know all too well about how often they jump up to you and start sitting on your keyboard or laptop. Nuff said. Not to mention, she wakes me up way too early in the morning and I lose more sleep because of that.

The last few factors are self-explanatory; Old drawing equipment not working properly, doctor appointments eating up my free time, and the need to take my mind off work and life with either video games or watching movies. Oh, and there was also the previous election news always making me needlessly ponder and worry about my future (I'm at least glad that its mostly over for now).

There is of course one last factor that played a small part in distracting me from drawing on occasion... V-TUBERS.

Yes, I have become very much glued to the rising trend of watching Virtual Youtubers and Virtual Twitch streamers just playing games and talking topics. Honestly, they have all helped me stay positive throughout the year along with taking care of my pets. I have watched so much Hololive, Nijisanji and Lewd Cast content lately and now I want to take a little time to draw some stuff regarding for fun. I do hope that some of my followers here have become good v-tuber fans as well so that I don't feel like I'm wasting my time watching them for entertainment. I would like to draw a wrestling related scene with them though, so maybe I'll plan something out this week with such a project while I continue to go back to finishing requests and commissions too.

Anyway, that's all I have to say about my current absence. Here's hoping that I can try to get back to regaining more motivation to draw for my friends. Although let me inform you all ahead of time, the Christmas season is approaching soon, so my time working at my delivery job will likely drain my energy again and again before the end of the year. I'm sorry in advance if that becomes the case. Catch ya later!
